“I might pay to hear ai Decoons say… CrossFit needs Pukie back”
So I made that happen, and went from there… and it got me thinking.
The dude who doesn’t (didn’t?) have his level one, and has the title “VP of Global Affiliate and Operations,” is now saying the all CrossFit Affiliate owners need to have their level 2? I’ll go out on a limb here and say there is no chance in hell Decoons managed to get both his L1 and L2 since mid October.
It seemed like a decent idea considering one of the biggest “faults” in the affiliate model was that ALL YOU NEEDED TO OPEN AN AFFILIATE WAS A L1 AND 3K. Increase the barrier to entry by increasing education?
Seems like outsider thinking and more of a money grab now. Especially considering that CrossFit.com is still going with the guest program model.
The connection there is that you are telling the world that…
- Affiliates are now being held to a higher standards.
- Our main avenue of programming is more inconsistant than ever.
I just want to that when these decisions are being made, if this is the type of thing they consider, because as always, I am just the dude in his garage looking at things from the persepctive of the world.
And CrossFit clearly is not doing the same.
